Betty Beacon Apparel
Our Betty Beacon apparel line provides great fit and form, while displaying a respect for Beacon’s rich (and sometimes strange 🤨) history.
In the year 1908, the Beaconcrest Hotel was built beside the already established Casino atop Mt. Beacon. The Hotel & Casino established Mt. Beacon as an international vacation spot that visitors could access by traveling up the mountain on the renowned Mt. Beacon Incline Railway.
Sadly, on October 16, 1927, shortly after midnight as the last of the hotel’s visitors descended the mountain on the train, an uncontrollable fire erupted in the casino and completely destroyed both buildings.
We are left with the beautiful vintage logo from the hotel's marketing material of the time, a relic of Mt. Beacon's glamorous past.
